The Frederick Apple Core meets the second Saturday of each month from 10 AM to Noon at the Walkersville United Methodist Church. Users of Apple products (Macintosh, iPhone, iPod, iPad, etc.) are invited to attend. Club business, new developments, as well as user problems and solutions will be discussed. In addition to our general meetings, we have special events, including an annual “freecycle” event.

Our agenda includes a review of recently released Apple products. This is an interesting time when those who may be considering a MacBook have so many choices with deals on the M1 MacBook Air, emerging discounted M3 MacBook Airs, and rapidly disappearing M2 MacBooks. Thinking of a new Mac Mini or iMac, there are several deals available for the last generation of both. Knowing what your needs are for a replacement Mac can guide a choice rich in value but short on the latest tech available or soon to be available. For those waiting for a larger iMac, the wait continues. Will it be worth the price if and when it arrives? Remember the last iMac Pro started at $4995.
